Flying Without Wings

Actually I don't like hearing western songs, but since my lecturer, who taught in Listening Class when I had Intensive English Course, ordered students to listen to English songs, I started listening to some English songs in order to improve my listening in English... Hence, in that time my friends and I collected English songs where most of songs we got are Westlife's songs O_o. Finally we are used to listening to Westlifes' songs from some its albums.

I don't mean to promote that band, just want to say indeed I think most of its songs are nice to be listened to! However, well! I realize... most of its song is about LOVE, so it might be better if u listen to it when u have get married :D WHY? Basically  I don't have any specific reason, I just remember the saying of one of my friends and my sisters some time ago... "Dear when you listening to love songs... as long as it doesn't bring you in so far imagination it's OK! and it shouldn't make you be a dreamer! It's no problem for you to collect love songs, but you should listen to it with your lover when you have get married." O_o

Yeah! I understand.... I'm a muslim... there are rules in Islam related to listening to the music too. Its law is mubah (we have right to chose whether to do or not to do). Although we have right to chose, in Islam there is a guide that we should chose to do if it will give positive effects and we should not to do it if it will give negative effects. So, in this case ourselves who can measure how its effect toward us and how we can control ourselves whether our choice is appropriate for us or not. Furthermore, in Islam songs that leads someone to bad deed are forbidden. Opposite with this, songs that can lead him to do good deed and make him is getting close to Allah, it's good. The example of song that is good to be listened to is islamic song or nasheed that the lyric can make us remember Allah and motivate us to do good deeds according to Allah's rules.

Here I want to share one of Westlife's songs that I like... this doesn't mean that I want any of u to follow listen ing to this song or other Westlife songs... NO! I just want to share what is the meaning behind this... Deep meaning... as long as we can measure it with our own standard as  a muslim.... Take what is good... n never take what is wrong! OK! ^_

My  question after listening to this song is HOW  WE CAN FLY WITHOUT WINGS???
